Designed for demanding industrial environments, the Vickers DG5V-8-H-6C-2-T-M-U-H-10 is a two-stage directional control valve capable of handling flow rates up to 700 litres per minute. It supports three- or four-way directional control and is rated at 30 watts, making it well suited to high-flow hydraulic circuits where precise directional management is required.
Buna-N seals provide reliable fluid compatibility across a broad range of hydraulic media. The valve mounts on industry-standard surfaces, simplifying integration into existing hydraulic systems. Its application range spans die casting and foundry equipment, machine tools, marine and offshore installations, presses, primary metal and paper processing machinery, test and simulation equipment, and turbine control systems including wind, steam, and water turbines.

Question by: Glen M on Jan 2, 2026, 10:17 AM
Got a high-flow hydraulic circuit on a press line that's been giving us grief with directional control. Would this Vickers unit handle something in that range, or is 700 LPM more of a ceiling you don't want to push against?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 4, 2026, 7:46 AM
Seven hundred litres per minute is the rated flow capacity, and press applications are actually one of the listed use cases for this valve. It handles three- or four-way directional control, so depending on how your circuit is configured, it should fit right into that kind of setup. Whether you're running it near the top of that flow range regularly or not, it's built for the kind of demanding industrial duty that press lines put on equipment.
Question by: Kirk J on Aug 29, 2025, 1:08 PM
Is this Vickers valve gonna fit right onto a standard setup, or am I gonna need some kind of adapter plate?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 31, 2025, 6:03 AM
Integration should be pretty straightforward; it's made to mount on industry-standard surfaces, so you shouldn't need any special adapters.
