Question by: Curt M on Dec 23, 2025, 10:01 AM
Can this valve handle fluids besides just regular hydraulic oil, or is it strictly for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 25, 2025, 8:04 AM
This directional control valve uses a Buna-N seal, which offers good compatibility with petroleum-based hydraulic fluids. Always verify seal compatibility with your specific fluid type.

what all industries is this valve actually built for? got a press operation and want to make sure it ain't overkill or underkill for what we're runnin
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 28, 2026, 6:02 AM
Press applications are right in the wheelhouse for this valve. It also covers die casting, foundry work, machine tool setups, marine and offshore environments, primary metal and paper use, test equipment, and turbine control systems including wind, steam, and water. So for a press operation, you're well within the intended use range.
