Got a harvester sitting idle cause the proportional valve went out, this a poppet-style unit running on 24 volts?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 22, 2025, 8:20 PM
poppet-style and 24 volt operation. It's part of the Vickers EPV16 Series by Danfoss/Eaton, rated at 60 litres per minute with 3/4" port sizing. Built for exactly that kind of mobile equipment, harvesters included, so it should drop right into that application.

Would this work good on a silage harvester?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 13, 2025, 5:57 PM
The Vickers EPV16 series is designed for demanding mobile and industrial applications like harvesters and refuse haulers, so it should be suitable if it meets the flow and pressure requirements of your system.
