Flow rate on this thing tops out at 80 liters a minute, that gonna hold up running a hydraulic press without choking the system?

For press applications, 80 liters per minute is a reasonable ceiling and Vickers lists press use as one of the intended applications for this valve. As long as your system demand stays within that limit, you shouldn't be fighting flow restriction issues. Size your circuit accordingly and it'll do the job it's built for.
