Question by: Jean M on Mar 17, 2026, 4:28 PM
flow rate on this one is listed at 115 litres per minute -- is that enough for most press or die casting setups, or do them applications usually need more?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 18, 2026, 7:43 PM
For a good portion of press and die casting circuits, 115 litres per minute lands right in a workable range. Those applications vary quite a bit depending on cylinder size and cycle speed, but this valve sits comfortably in the mid-range for single-stage directional control. If your system is already sized around that flow capacity, you shouldn't run into any trouble putting it to work in either of those environments.
Question by: Shawn L on Jul 11, 2025, 12:35 PM
Reckon this valve would hold up okay in a die casting setup? Those machines can be kinda brutal.
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 13, 2025, 6:13 AM
For die casting and foundry equipment, this Vickers valve is a good fit, as well as machine tools, presses, and other demanding applications.
