VICKERS DG5V8S2C1MUB10

Description & Features

Designed for high-flow directional control in demanding industrial environments, the Vickers DG5V8S2C1MUB10 is a two-stage directional control valve capable of handling flow rates up to 700 litres per minute. Its three- or four-way configuration provides flexible circuit design options, and the valve mounts readily on industry-standard surfaces to simplify integration into existing hydraulic systems.

Buna-N seals make this valve well suited for a broad range of hydraulic fluids commonly used across industrial applications. Suitable for use in press systems, machine tools, die casting and foundry equipment, primary metal and paper processing, marine and offshore installations, turbine control, and test and simulation equipment, the DG5V8S2C1MUB10 covers a wide spectrum of industrial sectors where reliable directional flow control is critical.

Question by: Jimmy A on Sep 20, 2025, 8:45 AM
flow rate on this thing goes up to 700 LPM -- that's a pretty serious number. what kind of applications is this valve actually built for?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 22, 2025, 7:51 AM
Heavy-duty industrial work is where this valve earns its keep. Press systems, die casting and foundry equipment, machine tools, primary metal and paper processing, marine and offshore setups, turbine control, and test or simulation equipment are all listed applications. That 700 litre per minute capacity puts it well into high-flow territory, so it fits right in on equipment that needs serious, reliable directional control without getting choked down under load.
Question by: Debbie C on Dec 31, 2025, 8:35 PM
What kind of applications is this valve good for? I'm thinking about using it on some metal processing equipment.
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 2, 2026, 3:56 PM
This Vickers valve is particularly well-suited for primary metal processing, along with other applications such as die casting, machine tools, marine/offshore setups, presses, paper processing, test equipment, simulation, and turbine control.
