Got a machine tool setup running pretty high flow demands. This valve handle up to 530 liters per minute, or is that more of a peak rating you wouldn't want to push steady?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 4, 2026, 12:14 PM
530 liters per minute is the rated flow capacity for this valve. Whether that's a continuous operating ceiling or a peak figure isn't broken out in the spec data, but it gives you a clear upper boundary to work your system design around. For a machine tool application, this valve falls squarely in the intended use case, so flow-wise you're in the right territory.

Hey, can this thing handle gettin' wet sometimes, like if it's splashed a little?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 4, 2025, 9:09 AM
Given its moisture-resistant design, incidental exposure to liquids shouldn't be a problem for this Vickers pressure control valve.
