Question by: Shane A on Jul 15, 2025, 3:55 PM
flow rate on this valve is listed at 700 liters per minute, that right for a size 8 body? seems high but wanna make sure before we order
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 17, 2025, 9:47 AM
For a D08 frame valve, 700 liters per minute is within the expected performance range for a two-stage design like this one. Single-stage D08 valves typically top out lower, but the two-stage configuration on this unit is what allows it to handle that kind of flow. If your system is sized for high-volume work, this valve is built to keep up with it.

What kind of stuff is this valve typically used on?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 10, 2025, 6:17 PM
This directional control valve finds application across a range of industries, including die casting, foundries, machine tools, marine/offshore environments, presses, primary metal production, paper processing, test equipment and simulation, and turbine control for wind, steam, and water systems.
