VICKERS DG5V8S2A2MUB10

Description & Features

Designed for demanding industrial and heavy-duty hydraulic applications, the Vickers DG5V8S2A2MUB10 is a two-stage directional control valve rated for flow up to 700 litres per minute. It supports three- or four-way directional control configurations and mounts on industry-standard surfaces, making it compatible with a wide range of hydraulic circuit designs.

Buna-N seals provide reliable fluid compatibility across typical hydraulic media. Application coverage is broad, spanning die casting and foundry equipment, machine tools, marine and offshore installations, press systems, primary metal and paper machinery, test and simulation equipment, and turbine control systems for wind, steam, and water applications.

Question by: Frank P on Jun 24, 2025, 6:10 AM
flow rate on this thing goes up to 700 LPM -- that's a pretty hefty valve. what kind of setups is it actually built for?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 26, 2025, 6:25 AM
Heavy-duty work is where this one earns its keep. Die casting and foundry equipment, press systems, primary metal and paper machinery, turbine control for wind, steam, and water applications -- it covers a lot of ground. Marine and offshore installations are on that list too, along with machine tools and test or simulation equipment. At 700 litres per minute, it's sized for systems that move serious fluid volume, not light-duty shop work.
