VICKERS F6 DGMFN 5 Y A2W B2W 30

Description & Features

Designed for demanding industrial hydraulic circuits, the Vickers F6 DGMFN 5 Y A2W B2W 30 is a SystemStak directional control valve offering a flow capacity of up to 120 litres per minute. The nitrile seal construction supports reliable performance across a wide range of hydraulic fluids, while the stacked valve configuration reduces installation complexity and eliminates external leakage points common in conventionally plumbed circuits.

Suited for use in machine tool, press, primary metal, marine/offshore, die casting and foundry, turbine control, and test equipment applications, this valve is built to withstand contamination-prone environments. The SystemStak design integrates multiple functions within a compact footprint, reducing the number of external connections required and boosting contamination resistance throughout the assembly.

Question by: Ralph R on Jul 18, 2025, 5:26 PM
flow rate on this one's listed at 120 LPM, that enough for a press circuit running a decent sized cylinder, or is this more of a mid-range valve?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 20, 2025, 9:58 AM
For a press circuit, 120 litres per minute puts this squarely in mid-to-upper range territory for a stacked directional valve. Whether that ceiling fits your cylinder depends on bore size and cycle speed, but plenty of press applications run well within that capacity. The SystemStak configuration also helps here because stacking eliminates the external hydraulic connections connections you'd otherwise have between components, which cuts down on pressure drop sources across the circuit.
