Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Billy M on Aug 21, 2025, 9:46 PM
Flow rate on this one says 40 liters per minute, that enough for press or die casting work, or is this more of a light-duty valve?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 23, 2025, 6:14 AM
Forty liters per minute puts it solidly in range for die casting and press applications. Those are actually listed use cases for this valve, along with primary metal processing and turbine control. It handles three- or four-way directional control, so it can manage the kind of fluid routing those environments typically demand. For most mid-range hydraulic circuits in those settings, that flow rate gets the job done without needing to step up to a larger valve body.
Question by: Freddie J on Mar 10, 2026, 9:21 PM
Can this valve handle continuous operation in a marine environment without corroding too fast?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 12, 2026, 4:03 PM
Buna-N is used for the seals, which offers good resistance to petroleum-based fluids, but for harsh marine environments, you'll want to ensure regular maintenance and inspection to prevent corrosion on the valve body itself.
