Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Ross C on Dec 17, 2025, 3:19 PM
Flow rate on this one says 80 litres per minute, is that enough for a standard press circuit, or would it be pushin the limits?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 19, 2025, 12:02 PM
For most press applications, 80 litres per minute gives you solid headroom. The DG4V-3 series is actually listed as suitable for press work right alongside machine tool and primary metal applications, so it's not a stretch fit. Whether your specific circuit stays comfortably under that ceiling depends on your actuator sizing and cycle demands, but the valve itself isn't the bottleneck in a typical press setup.
Question by: Randy H on Oct 13, 2025, 10:30 AM
Will this here valve work okay with standard hydraulic fluid, or do I need to get something special?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 15, 2025, 7:21 AM
This directional control valve is fitted with Buna-N seals, so it’s generally compatible with a wide range of fluids.
