Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Frank H on Apr 10, 2025, 8:07 PM
flow rate on this thing is listed at 590 litres per minute, that enough to keep up with a high-cycle press without choking out?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 12, 2025, 7:15 AM
For press applications, 590 litres per minute puts this comfortably in the range where high-demand circuits won't starve the system. Presses are actually one of the primary use cases this valve cover was built around, along with die casting and metal forming equipment, so it's not just a general-purpose part being stretched to fit. Faster response time and cycle-to-cycle consistency were both factored into the design, which matters a lot when you're running a press through repetitive strokes all shift long.
Question by: Debbie W on Jun 7, 2025, 2:55 PM
What kind of machines would this valve cover typically be used on?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 9, 2025, 12:34 PM
Application-wise, this valve cover is often used in presses, plastics molding machines, die casting machines, shears and balers, and metal forming machinery. It's also found in steel mill machinery, primary metal processing equipment, mobile vehicles, and marine applications.
