Product Questions & Answers (1)
Question by: Ralph W on Mar 2, 2026, 8:21 PM
flow rate on this valve is listed at 80 lpm, that gonna be enough for a press application or is it cutting it close?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 4, 2026, 6:37 AM
For most press setups, 80 liters per minute is a solid working flow rate. The DG4V-3 series is actually listed under press applications right alongside machine tool and die casting work, so it fits that use case well. Whether it's enough really comes down to your cylinder bore, stroke speed, and cycle demands. At 80 lpm you've got a capable valve, not a marginal one, for the kinds of press circuits this series was built around.
