VICKERS-ENCAP COIL FRAME

Description & Features

Designed for continuous duty in demanding mobile and industrial environments, the Vickers-Encap Coil Frame is a solenoid coil built for reliable performance across a range of hydraulic valve applications. The encapsulated construction provides a compact profile suited for installation in space-constrained configurations, and the internally rectified design allows direct AC input without the need for an external rectifier.

Rated for continuous duty, this coil is well-matched to applications such as harvesters and refuse haulers where sustained electrical engagement is required. Manufactured under the Vickers brand by Danfoss/Eaton, it fits within the SICV coil family and is a direct-fit replacement for compatible Vickers valve assemblies.

Question by: Cheryl A on Nov 27, 2025, 11:54 AM
Will this coil work in place of the one on my Vickers valve assembly?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 29, 2025, 6:18 AM
This Vickers-Encap coil is designed as a direct-fit replacement for compatible Vickers valve assemblies, so it should work if your current coil matches those specifications.

Got a Vickers valve on a refuse hauler that's been runnin the OEM coil for years, thing finally gave out. This a straight swap for the original or are there fitment differences I should know about?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 24, 2025, 4:22 PM
Built as a direct-fit replacement for compatible Vickers valve assemblies, so if you're pulling an original coil off a Vickers setup it should drop right in without modification. It falls under the SICV coil family, which is the reference point for confirming compatibility on your specific valve. As long as your valve is in that family, you're looking at a plug-and-play swap.
