flow rate on this one is listed at 114 liters per minute -- is that enough for press and die casting work or is it on the low end for those applications?

For press and die casting use, 114 liters per minute is a solid mid-range flow capacity. Both of those application types are explicitly covered by this valve, so it's built with those demands in mind. Whether it fits your specific system comes down to your circuit requirements, but the flow rating is not a limiting factor for general press or die casting use cases.
