I'm looking at using this in a marine application, any concerns with saltwater?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 30, 2025, 6:58 AM
Constructed with fluorocarbon seals, this valve is designed to withstand harsh environments, making it suitable for marine and offshore applications.
Question by: Billy C on May 23, 2025, 1:47 PM
we run a die casting operation and been looking at proportional valves for tighter control, does this one work for that kind of setup?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 25, 2025, 12:22 PM
Die casting is actually one of the core applications this valve was built around, along with foundry work, press use, and primary metal processing. The KDG4V-3S runs direct-acting, which gives you responsive, proportional control rather than on/off switching. Fluorocarbon seals hold up well in the kind of heat and fluid conditions that come with casting environments. At 22 liters per minute flow rate, it fits a solid range of production setups without being overkill.
