got a DG4V4-01 valve on a press, is this one the single stage directional control style?

Built as a single stage directional control valve, the DG4V4-01 10 Design series is meant for three-way or four-way directional control in hydraulic circuits.

flow rate on this one says 115 liters per minute -- that enough to handle press applications or is it kinda on the low end for that?

For press applications, 115 liters per minute is a solid working flow rate and fits right in the range where most single-stage directional valves operate in that environment. The DG4V4 series is listed specifically for press use, so the pairing makes sense. Whether it's enough depends on your system's demand, but the valve itself isn't a limiting factor for typical press circuit work.
