VICKERS DG5V8S2CXTMUH10

Description & Features

Designed for high-flow hydraulic circuits, the Vickers DG5V8S2CXTMUH10 is a two-stage directional control valve capable of handling flow rates up to 700 litres per minute. It supports both three- and four-way directional control configurations, making it adaptable across a broad range of industrial circuit designs.

Buna-N seals provide reliable fluid compatibility in demanding environments, and the 30-watt solenoid rating supports consistent actuation performance. Mounting follows industry-standard surface patterns, simplifying integration into existing hydraulic systems. Suitable applications include die casting and foundry equipment, machine tools, marine and offshore installations, press machinery, primary metal and paper processing, test and simulation equipment, and turbine control systems for wind, steam, and water applications.

Question by: Shane A on Mar 29, 2026, 7:07 AM
flow rate on this thing is listed at 700 litres per minute -- that enough to run high-volume press machinery without bogging down?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 31, 2026, 7:55 AM
For press applications, 700 litres per minute is substantial capacity. That puts it well into the range where high-demand circuits stay fed without starving downstream components. The valve supports both three- and four-way directional control, so depending on how your press circuit is laid out, you've got flexibility in how you configure it. Buna-N seals hold up well in the kind of fluid environments press machinery typically runs, so you're not looking at rapid seal degradation under normal operating conditions.
Question by: Clint C on Jun 18, 2025, 9:52 PM
If I'm usin' this in some hydraulic machinery in a foundry, will it hold up okay?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 20, 2025, 6:44 AM
This Vickers valve is well-suited for demanding applications like die casting and foundry equipment, among others, due to its Buna-N seals and robust design.
