Question by: Denise R on Aug 24, 2025, 9:38 PM
Flow rate on this one is listed at 120 liters per minute, is that enough for press and die casting work, or is that on the lower end for those applications?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 26, 2025, 9:33 PM
For die casting and press applications, 120 liters per minute is a solid working flow rate and falls well within the range those use typically run. This valve was built with exactly those environments in mind, so it's not a stretch to say it fits naturally there. The Buna-N seals hold up well against the fluid types common in those settings, and the design cuts down on external leakage which matters a lot when you're running high-cycle press work or dealing with the heat and mess of a foundry floor.
Question by: Keith C on Sep 25, 2025, 7:09 PM
Is this valve something that could stand up to the kind of hydraulic fluid contamination you get in a metal foundry?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 27, 2025, 7:19 AM
It's designed with boosted resistance to contamination in mind, especially for demanding applications like die casting and foundry work.
