Question by: Larry R on May 9, 2025, 12:08 PM
running a refuse hauler and need a proportional valve that won't take up a ton of space on the machine -- does this one fit that kind of setup pretty well?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 11, 2025, 6:35 AM
Compact builds and refuse hauler applications are exactly what the EPV16 series was put together for. It handles rated flows up to 160 L/min (42 USgpm), uses a 5/8" port, and runs on 12 volts, which fits right into the kind of mobile hydraulic setups common on that equipment. The poppet style also holds up well in demanding duty cycles where reliable flow control matters.
Question by: Dwayne W on May 24, 2025, 7:09 AM
What's the deal with these being used on harvesters? Is it something about the flow rate that makes it a good fit?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 25, 2025, 8:28 AM
They’re often chosen for harvesters, refuse haulers, and other mobile applications because they're designed to be reliable and compact, delivering precise flow control in demanding conditions where space is limited.
