Can this be used in situations where there's a risk of explosion, like an oil rig?

Yes, this valve has ATEX certification, indicating it's suitable for environments with explosive atmospheres.
Question by: Curt B on Dec 18, 2025, 3:49 PM
valve says it works on press and die casting equipment, we run both in our shop. does the 115 lpm flow rate hold up across both them applications or is that just for one type?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 20, 2025, 6:03 AM
Running both press and die casting off the same type of valve is pretty common in heavy manufacturing setups, and this unit lists both as supported applications right alongside each other. The 115 litre per minute flow rate applies to the valve itself, not to any one specific application. So whether you're cycling a press or working through a die casting process, you're working with the same flow ceiling either way. Just make sure your system demands fall within that 115 lpm figure and you're in good shape.
