flow rate on this valve is listed at 80 lpm, that work alright for press and machine tool setups, or is that on the low end for that kind of work?

For press and machine tool applications, 80 liters per minute is a solid mid-range flow capacity. Those environments don't always demand extreme flow, and this valve fits comfortably within the performance window most of those systems run at.
