Reckon this'll work okay in a machine shop environment, you know, with all the coolant and whatnot flying around?

Got a machine tool setup that needs a directional control valve and I keep seeing the DG4V-3 series come up. This the 6BL-H-M-FPBWL-H7-60 variant good for that kind of work, or is it more of an industrial press thing?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 18, 2025, 5:05 PM
Machine tool is actually one of the core applications this valve was built around, so you're in good shape there. It also covers press work, die casting and foundry environments, marine and offshore use, primary metal and paper use, and even turbine control for wind, steam, and water systems. Flow rate runs up to 80 liters per minute and the solenoid draws 30 watts, so it fits a pretty wide range of working conditions without being overkill for a machine tool setup.
