Question by: Brenda A on Aug 18, 2025, 7:54 AM
Flow rate on this one is listed at 115 liters per minute, is that enough for press or die casting work, or is it more suited to lighter-duty setups?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 19, 2025, 2:30 PM
For press and die casting applications, 115 liters per minute is a solid working figure. Those are actually two of the named application types for this valve, so it's not a stretch to put it there. Die casting and foundry environments tend to be demanding, and this valve was built with exactly that kind of service in mind. Just make sure your system is sized to match that flow capacity and you're not trying to push significantly beyond it.

Application-wise, this Vickers directional control valve is designed for use in presses, among other applications like die casting and machine tools.
