Question by: Janice D on Feb 9, 2026, 3:27 PM
flow rate on this valve is listed at 115 litres per minute -- is that enough for a press application or should i be lookin at somethin with more capacity?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 11, 2026, 6:43 AM
For most press circuits, 115 litres per minute is a solid working flow rate and fits well within the range where this valve performs reliably. Press is actually one of the named application types for this series, so it was built with that kind of duty in mind. Whether it covers your specific circuit depends on what your actuator demands at peak stroke, but the rated flow puts it in competitive territory for a good range of press setups.

Will this handle hydraulic fluid in a die casting setup, or will the seals give me trouble?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 28, 2025, 8:00 PM
Buna-N seals make this valve well-suited for die casting and foundry applications where reliable fluid direction is needed across a range of conditions.
