VICKERS-KDG5V-8-33C330N200-M-U-H1-20

Description & Features

Designed for demanding industrial environments, the VICKERS-KDG5V-8-33C330N200-M-U-H1-20 is a direct-acting proportional valve from Vickers offering a rated flow of 330 litres per minute. Fluorocarbon seals support compatibility with a broad range of hydraulic fluids, making this valve well suited for high-performance hydraulic circuits where seal integrity matters.

Available in three performance levels, ultra, high, and standard, this valve series can be matched to a wide range of application requirements without over-specifying. Plug-and-play functionality reduces commissioning time, a practical advantage in production environments. Suitable applications span die casting and foundry equipment, machine tools, marine and offshore installations, press systems, primary metal and paper processing, test and simulation equipment, and turbine control systems including wind, steam, and water turbines.

Question by: Cody H on Aug 5, 2025, 5:50 PM
If I'm running this thing pretty hard, what kind of hydraulic fluid is gonna work best with it?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 7, 2025, 6:30 AM
Fluorocarbon seals give this Vickers valve broad compatibility, so you can use it with a wide range of hydraulic fluids without seal breakdown becoming an issue.
Question by: Brent W on Aug 5, 2025, 10:42 AM
Flow rate on this one's listed at 330 litres per minute, is that enough to handle the kind of demand you'd see in a press or die casting setup?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 7, 2025, 7:26 AM
For press systems and die casting equipment, 330 litres per minute puts this valve well within range of what those applications typically pull. Both of those environments run high-demand hydraulic circuits, and this valve was built with exactly that kind of duty in mind. The direct-acting design also helps maintain responsive control even when flow demands shift quickly, which matters a lot in cycling press use.
