Question by: Wayne G on Oct 4, 2025, 8:04 PM
got a press system that's been giving us fits with moisture getting into the control valves, would this Vickers unit hold up any better in that kind of setup?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 6, 2025, 3:49 PM
Moisture resistance is actually built into this valve, so yeah, it's a solid fit for that kind of environment. Press systems are one of the listed applications, and the moisture-resistant construction addresses exactly the kind of exposure that tends to wear out standard valves ahead of schedule. The Buna-N seals also hold up well against oils and chemicals, which tends to be a factor in press environments anyway.
