VICKERS DG4V-3-42A-VM-KUPD2-DS7- 60-EN38

Description & Features

Designed for precise control in industrial applications, the Vickers DG4V-3-42A-VM-KUPD2-DS7-60-EN38 directional control valve offers reliable performance across a range of demanding environments. Capable of handling a flow rate of up to 80 liters per minute, this valve is well-suited for use in die casting, machine tools, marine and offshore use, as well as primary metal processing and turbine control systems.

Engineered with a focus on efficiency, this valve features a low leakage/high head loss configuration, with a typical leakage rate of just 5 ml/min/land at 100 bar head loss. This model incorporates Buna-N seals for enhanced durability and compatibility with various hydraulic fluids. The special spools provide increased overlap, ensuring optimal performance under high-pressure conditions. Installation and assembly drawings are available for precise setup, with references to installation DRG No 508190 and ASSY DRG No 698501.

Product Questions & Answers (2)

Question by: Brent W on Mar 27, 2026, 12:14 PM
What kind of leakage numbers should I expect out of this valve running at high pressure?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 28, 2026, 7:43 PM
At 100 bar head loss, typical leakage runs about 5 ml per minute per land. That's actually quite low for a directional control valve. The special spools on this unit are built with increased overlap, which is what keeps those numbers tight under high-pressure conditions. If low leakage is a priority for your system, this configuration was put together with that in mind.
