Question by: Dustin H on Jun 11, 2025, 8:25 PM
flow rate on this thing goes up to 1,250 litres a minute -- that right? trying to figure out if it'll keep up with our press line without bottlenecking anything
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 13, 2025, 6:52 AM
Yeah, 1,250 litres per minute is the rated flow for this cartridge valve, so it's built for high-flow demand. Press applications are actually one of the core use cases it was designed around, along with die casting, metal forming, and similar heavy-cycle equipment. If your press line is running within that flow ceiling, this valve should keep pace without becoming the weak point in the circuit.
Question by: Steve H on Sep 29, 2025, 4:55 PM
I’m seeing this Vickers valve is good for presses and metal forming, how about for some heavy hydraulic shears we got running?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 1, 2025, 8:15 AM
This CVI-32 valve is definitely applicable to shears and balers. It's also suitable for demanding applications like metal forming machinery, steel mill equipment, and even mobile vehicle and marine hydraulic systems.
