Wondering what kind of equipment this valve typically goes on?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 5, 2025, 4:29 PM
This Danfoss/Eaton spool valve is designed to work well with aerial work platforms and turf care equipment.
Question by: Melvin B on May 21, 2025, 6:04 AM
got a aerial lift that's been eating motors and somebody told me to look at a geroler setup instead, this XLS series, does it put out enough torque to actually handle that kind of work?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 23, 2025, 6:00 AM
At 417 newton meters, the torque rating on this valve is built for exactly that kind of demand. Aerial work platforms are actually one of the listed applications for this unit, so it's not a stretch to say it was put together with that use case in mind. The low-speed Geroler configuration is what gives it that torque advantage at reduced RPM, which tends to be where lifts are doing most of their real work anyway.
