Description & Features

The 1.5PE Series Aluminium Gear Pump offers a displacement of 0.17 cu in/rev making it ideal for demanding applications requiring consistent performance. It features a 2-Bolt SAE AA Mounting Flange along with a 1/2 St. Keyed x 1.06 long SAE AA Shaft ensuring durable and secure attachment.

Ports include an SAE -8 side inlet and an SAE -6 side outlet. The pump is designed for clockwise rotation and can be adjusted by reversing the position of the drive shaft and driven shaft and rotating the front flange.

This gear pump can handle high pressures with an inlet pressure range of 7.38 in. Hg to 21.7 PSI and a peak pressure up to 4205 PSI. It operates efficiently within a continuous speed range of up to 3825 RPM and can intermittently reach speeds of 5000 RPM.

Constructed for longevity and reliability the pump is built to withstand severe environments featuring advanced bushings and seals that maintain performance in extreme temperature and low viscosity conditions.

Recommended fluid viscosities range from a minimum of 66 SUS to 3635 SUS with a normal operating range of 85 SUS to 297 SUS. The temperature rating with standard Buna-N seals is 5deg;F to 185deg;F; for FPM seals (Viton) it ranges from -4deg;F to 230deg;F.

runs up to what speed continuous before you start pushing it too hard on this little pump?

Continuous operation tops out at 3825 RPM under working pressure. It can hit intermittent bursts up to 5000 RPM, but that's not meant to be a sustained condition. Keep it under that 3825 mark for day-in, day-out use and you'll be in good shape.
