Description & Features

Designed for reliable performance in demanding hydraulic systems, the Salami 1.5PE Series Aluminium Gear Pump delivers a displacement of 0.38 cu in/rev with a rated flow of 2.9 GPM at 3060 RPM. The 2-bolt SAE AA mounting flange and 1/2 in. straight keyed shaft (1.06 in. long) make for straightforward integration with standard SAE AA drive configurations.

Port connections consist of an SAE -8 side inlet and SAE -6 side outlet, with clockwise shaft rotation as standard. Rotation can be reversed by repositioning the drive and driven shafts and rotating the front flange. The continuous working pressure rating is 3335 PSI, with intermittent peaks supported up to 4205 PSI.

The aluminium construction is paired with an advanced bushing and seal arrangement suited to high-temperature and low-viscosity conditions. Standard Buna-N seals cover a temperature range of 5°F to 185°F; optional Viton (FPM) seals extend that range to -4°F to 230°F. Normal operating fluid viscosity runs 85 to 297 SUS.

what's the rotation on this pump and is there any way to flip it if i need counterclockwise?

Out of the box, it runs clockwise. Changing the rotation is possible though. You'd reverse the positions of the drive shaft and driven shaft, then rotate the front flange. No special tools or replacement parts required for that swap, just mechanical repositioning.

What kind of operating temps can this handle?

With the standard Buna-N seals, you're looking at a range of 5°F to 185°F. If you need something more robust, the FPM (Viton) seals will get you down to -4°F and up to 230°F.
