Description & Features

Designed for high-efficiency performance in demanding hydraulic circuits, the Salami 1.5PE Series Aluminium Gear Pump (0.21 cu in/rev displacement) delivers a rated flow of 1.6 GPM at 3825 RPM with clockwise shaft rotation. The 2-bolt SAE AA mounting flange and 9T 20/40 DP spline SAE AA shaft provide a compact, standardized interface suited to a wide range of mobile and industrial hydraulic systems.

Port configuration consists of an SAE -8 side inlet and SAE -6 side outlet. The aluminium construction keeps weight low while the internal bushing and seal design maintains reliable performance across high-temperature and low-viscosity fluid conditions. Standard Buna-N seals cover an operating temperature range of 5°F to 185°F; optional Viton seals extend that range to 230°F. Continuous working pressure is rated at 3625 PSI, with peak pressures supported up to 4205 PSI. Rotation is field-reversible by repositioning the drive and driven shafts and rotating the front flange.

pump says CW rotation on it, can that be switched around if my setup needs it to go the other way?

Rotation on this pump can be changed. You reverse the position of the drive shaft and driven shaft, then rotate the front flange. It's a field-adjustable configuration, so you're not locked into clockwise if your application runs counterclockwise.

Will this gear pump hold up okay in a hydraulic system running around 3000 PSI on a regular basis?

This pump is rated for continuous operation up to 3625 PSI, so it should be suitable for your system's working pressure. Just be sure your peak pressures don't exceed 4205 PSI.
