This SPX Hydraulic Technologies fitting is designed for use with Power Team high-pressure hydraulic products, offering reliable performance up to 10,000 PSI. Specifically, this is a SPX FITTING STR 3/8 NPTF M X 3/8 NPSM F.

Note: On part numbers 9673, 9675, 9676 and 9677 the female swivel end of these adapters is a straight pipe thread (NPSM) with a 30° seat. All male pipe fittings that are used with these female swivel adapters must have an internal 30° seat in order to effect a proper seal. All Power Team male fittings are manufactured with a 30° seat except 9687 and 9688.

Will this fitting work with other brands of hydraulic equipment besides Power Team, or is it specifically made just for them?

This fitting is designed for use with Power Team high-pressure hydraulic products. While it might physically connect to other brands, compatibility and performance at 10,000 PSI can't be guaranteed unless those brands also adhere to the Power Team fitting standards, especially regarding the 30° seat.

got a Power Team setup and need a straight adapter, is 9675 the one that goes 3/8 NPTF male to 3/8 NPSM female swivel?

For Power Team high-pressure hydraulic products, part 9675 is a straight fitting with a 3/8 NPTF male end and a 3/8 NPSM female swivel end.

Got a swivel adapter here and trying to figure out if this fitting will pair up right with it, does the 30 degree seat requirement apply to what I'm connecting on the male side?

Yeah, that seat angle matters quite a bit with this one. The female swivel end on part 9675 uses a straight pipe thread with a 30 degree seat, so any male pipe fitting you thread into it needs to have that same internal 30 degree seat to get a proper seal. Most Power Team male fittings are built that way already, but parts 9687 and 9688 are the two exceptions, those won't seal correctly with this adapter. As long as you're not using either of those, you should be in good shape.
