This SPX Power Team LOAD LOWERing Valve is designed for use with single- or double-acting cylinders, allowing adjustment of operating pressures below the pump's relief valve setting.
The regulator valve is easily adjustable to maintain pressures between 300 and 10,000 psi, holding a given pressure setting within 3% over repeated cycles. It has a flow range of 17 cubic inches per minute to 6 gallons per minute.
Also known under alternate part number C1JN16, this valve provides an economical means of protecting a hydraulic circuit against over pressurization.

Question by: Pete C on Oct 25, 2025, 12:41 PM
Reckon this'd work with my double-acting cylinder setup?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 26, 2025, 9:39 PM
This SPX Power Team load lowering valve is indeed designed for use with both single- and double-acting cylinders.
Question by: Tammy H on Aug 30, 2025, 8:33 PM
pressure range on this thing goes up to 10,000 psi, does it actually hold steady once you dial it in or does it creep around on you?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 1, 2025, 2:51 PM
Holds real consistent once set. The valve maintains your pressure setting within 3% across repeated cycles, so if you dial it to a specific point, it stays there through the work. The adjustment range runs from 300 psi on the low end all the way to 10,000 psi, which gives you plenty of room to fine-tune below whatever your pump's relief valve is set at.
Question by: Phil S on Jun 8, 2025, 2:16 PM
got a single-acting cylinder setup, can this valve be used on that or is it only for double-acting?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 9, 2025, 9:35 PM
Built for either single-acting or double-acting cylinders, it fits both kinds of cylinder circuits.
