10000 Series Geroler Motor, 21.00 cu in/rev, 4 Bolt SAE C Mounting Flange, 2-1/4 in. Straight Keyed Shaft, 1-5/16-12 St.Thd. O-Ring Ports,

Description & Features

The Danfoss / Eaton Char-Lynn 10000 Series Disc Geroler Standard motor is designed for industrial applications such as boring metal forming and saw mill operations. Featuring a 21.00 cu in/rev displacement this Geroler motor includes a 4 Bolt SAE C mounting flange 2-1/4 in. straight keyed shaft and 1-5/16-12 St.Thd. O-Ring ports.

Engineered to deliver the lowest pressure drop in the industry it provides efficient energy savings. This motor supports a fluid viscosity minimum of 70 SUS at operating temperature and a recommended range between 100-200 SUS. For best performance use premium quality anti-wear type hydraulic fluid.

The maximum case pressure stands at 300 PSI and for continuous back pressure over 300 PSI an external case drain line is recommended. The motor can operate under a maximum temperature of 180 F. A break-in period of approximately one hour at 30% of rated pressure is advised to ensure optimal motor life.

Additional features include wheel or bearingless configurations and an impressive 1040 newton metre torque rating. The recommended filtration meets ISO Cleanliness Code level 18/13 standards.

got a system that likes to run a little warm. what’s the hottest you can run this motor and still be in the safe zone?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 5, 2025, 9:03 AM
Keep operating temperature at or below 180 F for this motor. Staying under that limit helps protect the internals and supports normal service life.
