10000 Series Geroler Motor, 6.10 cu in/rev, 4 Bolt SAE C-mount Mounting Flange, 2-1/4 in. Straight Keyed-shaft Shaft, 1-5/16-12 St.Thd. O-Ring-ports Ports,

Description & Features

Designed for applications in industrial metal forming and port equipment the 10000 Series Geroler Motor offers a displacement of 6.1 cu in/rev and a torque rating of 1475 newton metre. This motor features a 4 Bolt SAE C-mount Mounting Flange and a 2-1/4 in. Straight Keyed-shaft.

Engineered with 1-5/16-12 St.Thd. O-Ring ports for efficient fluid handling it supports a maximum case pressure of 300 PSI without an external case drain. To optimize performance it is recommended to use premium quality anti-wear hydraulic fluid within a viscosity range of 100-200 SUS.

This product excels in providing energy savings with its highly-efficient Geroler motor the lowest pressure drop motor in the industry. For prolonged motor life a break-in period at 30% rated pressure is advised. The motor ensures reliable functionality in temperatures up to 180F. Designed per ISO Cleanliness Code level 18/13 it demands standard filtration practices.

Question by: Roger H on Dec 13, 2025, 5:04 PM
motor's been running near full load since day one, should I have done some kind of break-in first?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 15, 2025, 6:59 AM
Running straight to full load skips a step that really does matter on these motors. Eaton Char-Lynn recommends about an hour at 30% of rated pressure before you put it under a full load. That break-in period lets the internal components seat properly and helps you get the most service life out of it. Also make sure the motor case is completely filled with fluid before any load is applied, not just primed but fully filled.

got a setup that sees some back pressure, how far can i push the case pressure on this motor before i gotta run a case drain
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 12, 2025, 3:15 PM
Max case pressure is 300 PSI when you are not using an external case drain. If you expect continuous back pressure over 300 PSI, add an external case drain line and route it so the motor case stays full of oil at all times.

Will this motor hold up in a sawmill environment?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 2, 2025, 8:54 PM
Designed for applications like sawmills, this Geroler motor should function reliably, assuming standard filtration practices are followed per ISO Cleanliness Code level 18/13.
