10000 Series Geroler Motor, 6.10 cu in/rev, 4 Bolt SAE C-mount Mounting Flange, 2-1/4 in. Straight Keyed-shaft Shaft, 1-1/4 Code 61 Split Flange-ports Ports,

Description & Features

The Eaton Char-Lynn 10000 Series Geroler Motor is engineered for demanding industrial applications such as boring, metal forming, and sawmill use. Featuring a 6.10 cubic inch per revolution displacement, this motor is designed for efficiency and energy savings with its highly-efficient Geroler technology. The 4 Bolt SAE C-mount mounting flange ensures secure attachment, while the 2-1/4 inch straight keyed shaft provides reliable torque transmission. To optimize performance, it incorporates 1-1/4 Code 61 split flange ports, known for minimizing pressure drop, the lowest in the industry.

This motor is capable of handling a maximum case pressure of 300 PSI without a case drain, making it suitable for continuous use. For optimal longevity, a break-in period at 30% of rated pressure is recommended. It is compatible with premium quality, anti-wear hydraulic fluids and benefits from a filtration level meeting ISO Cleanliness Code 18/13 standards.

got a motor with 1-1/4 code 61 split flange ports now. are these ports the same deal, 4-bolt and all?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 23, 2025, 6:15 AM
Port-wise, it uses 1-1/4 Code 61 split flange ports with a 4-bolt split flange pattern. The port type is called out as a 31.75 mm (1.250 in) diameter 4-bolt split flange with staggered ports and .4375-14 UNC-2B tapped mounting holes.

what's the max back pressure this motor can handle before you'd need to run an external case drain line?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 10, 2025, 8:21 AM
Without a case drain, the motor handles up to 300 PSI of back pressure. Once you're running continuous back pressure above that, you'll need to tie in an external case drain line. Keep that line positioned so the motor case stays full of fluid at all times or you risk running it dry internally.
