Designed for mobile machine interface applications, the Danfoss / Eaton VFX40M Pro-Fx 4.3in Display is a programmable display unit built for demanding industrial environments. The 4.3-inch optically bonded display assembly delivers strong sunlight viewability, making it a practical choice for outdoor and mobile equipment where screen legibility is critical.
Supporting six programming languages along with CANopen and J1939 protocols, this display provides broad compatibility with machine control architectures. Operators can view real-time feedback through configurable dials, gauges, and machine diagrams, while intelligent diagnostic screens help reduce machine downtime by surfacing relevant system information quickly. Durable construction is matched with a programmable environment that supports faster development cycles and reduced time to market for custom machine interfaces.

Does this display work with both CANopen and J1939 setups, or do you have to pick one over the other?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 25, 2025, 7:07 PM
Both protocols are supported on this unit, so you're not locked into one or the other. That kind of dual-protocol compatibility makes it a solid fit for machines that use J1939 on the powertrain side while running CANopen elsewhere in the control architecture. A lot of mobile equipment falls into that mixed setup, so having both covered out of the box saves a good bit of integration headache.

need a screen i can actually read outside on a machine, is this one any good in the sun?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 4, 2026, 8:20 AM
For outdoor and mobile equipment, the optically bonded 4.3 inch display assembly is built for strong sunlight viewability, so the screen stays more legible in bright conditions than a typical non bonded display.

Reckon this display can handle being out in the sun all day?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 20, 2025, 3:51 PM
Optically bonded display assembly gives it best-in-class sunlight viewability, so you shouldn't have any trouble seeing it even in direct sunlight.
