Running a brush cutter setup and need something with decent torque that ain't gonna rob me blind on pressure drop. This Char-Lynn 2000 Series any good for that kind of work?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 11, 2025, 6:31 AM
For brush cutter and mower applications, this motor holds up well. The Geroler design is known for being among the lowest pressure drop options in its class, which means less energy wasted pushing fluid through the motor and more of that energy actually doing work. At 455 newton metres of torque and a 9.7 cubic inch per revolution displacement, it has enough grunt for demanding vegetation cutting duty without needing your system to work overtime to feed it.
