Reckon this motor would be alright for runnin' a brush cutter?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 24, 2025, 3:14 PM
It's listed as suitable for brush cutters and mowers. It's also used in swing motors and harvesting equipment.
Question by: Lee M on Nov 27, 2025, 9:01 AM
what's the torque output on this motor, and is it enough to run a brush cutter setup?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 28, 2025, 9:35 PM
At 455 Newton metres of torque, this unit has plenty of grunt for brush cutter and mower applications. The Geroler design also runs efficiently enough that you're not bleeding off a lot of energy as heat, which matters when you're running equipment hard through heavy brush. It's listed specifically for that type of application, so it's a solid fit for that kind of work.
Question by: Howard H on Aug 31, 2025, 12:26 PM
got a brush cutter that needs a 9.65 ci/rev motor, is this the right kind or is it some other series?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 1, 2025, 5:32 PM
For brush cutters and mowers, this one lines up with that type of equipment. It is an Eaton Char-Lynn 2000 Series disc Geroler motor with a 9.65 cu in per rev displacement, so it fits the “9.65” requirement you mentioned.
