I'm looking at using this on some harvesting equipment. Is that a good application for this motor?

This Char-Lynn motor works well in harvesting equipment, as well as brush cutters and mowers. It is also used in swing motor applications.

Got a brush cutter setup that's been eating through motors, would this Char-Lynn 2000 Series hold up for that kind of work?

Brush cutter applications are actually one of the listed uses for this motor, so you're in the right ballpark. It's built from cast iron, which holds up better than aluminum housings in demanding outdoor equipment. The geroler design also runs at lower pressure drop than most comparable motors, which means less heat buildup and less strain on the overall system during heavy cutting cycles.
