Question by: Peggy J on Jun 18, 2025, 8:37 AM
What's the deal with that Dura-Kote plating? Does it actually help with rust?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 19, 2025, 7:18 PM
Dura-Kote plating gives this valve plug some serious extra protection against corrosion. So yeah, it'll hold up a lot better, even in damp or harsh conditions.
Question by: Brent J on Oct 6, 2025, 3:46 PM
What kind of corrosion protection does this valve plug actually have? Running equipment outdoors and need something that'll hold up.
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 8, 2025, 6:24 AM
Carbon steel construction with Dura-Kote plating covers this one. That plating is specifically there to fight corrosion in tough conditions, including high-cycle use where regular finishes tend to break down faster. It's a step above standard coatings for outdoor or harsh-environment setups.
