Danfoss / Eaton Brass Adapter

Description & Features

Constructed from brass and finished with Dura-Kote plating for superior corrosion resistance, this straight adapter connects a 1/8 in. NPTF male thread to a 1/4 in. barbed male end, making it well suited for hydraulic and fluid transfer lines where a secure, leak-resistant transition between threaded and barbed connections is required. The 7/16 in. hex size allows for standard tool engagement during installation.

The Danfoss / Eaton Brass Adapter is part of the Aeroquip product line, which offers design flexibility across hundreds of fitting styles and is engineered to meet operating pressures above SAE standards. Its compact straight-adapter configuration suits tight installation environments where a direct inline connection between dissimilar end types is needed.

Product Questions & Answers (1)

Question by: Ricky B on Jun 3, 2025, 7:38 PM
How tight should I make this thing when I'm hooking it up? Don't want to strip the threads.
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 5, 2025, 5:37 PM
Given the 7/16 inch hex size, you can use a standard wrench to get a good, snug fit. You'll want it tight enough to prevent leaks, but not so tight that you damage the threads on either the adapter or the connected components.
