Question by: Pete B on Mar 23, 2026, 4:46 PM
Running a trencher off a hydraulic system and need something that ain't gonna rob all my flow just to get torque out of it. This the right kind of motor for that setup?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 25, 2026, 9:35 AM
For trenching work, torque is everything, and this motor puts out 705 newton metres, which is substantial for ground engagement applications. The Geroler design is worth calling out here because it genuinely runs with less pressure drop than most comparable motors, meaning your system isn't working overtime just to spin the motor. That translates to real energy savings over a full day of cutting. The 4000 Series is also listed specifically for trencher use, so it fits the application well.
