got a mower setup that needs a low speed geroler motor. is this one of them, or am i lookin at the wrong style
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 6, 2025, 4:36 PM
Under the ICC classification, it falls in the Low-Speed Gerotor or Geroler group, and it is a Char-Lynn 4000 Series disc geroler standard motor.
Question by: Neal C on Mar 28, 2025, 9:01 PM
what kind of torque are we lookin at with this motor, is 930 newton metres enough for running a trencher hard all day
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 29, 2025, 9:17 PM
For trenching work, 930 Nm is a solid amount of output torque and sits well within the range you'd expect for that kind of demanding ground engagement. The 4000 Series Geroler design is also known for keeping pressure drop low, which helps maintain consistent torque delivery without robbing efficiency from the rest of your hydraulic circuit. Paired with a flow capacity up to 95 liters per minute, it holds up under the kind of continuous load a trencher puts on a motor.
Question by: Tommy C on Nov 6, 2025, 8:57 PM
What kind of applications is this Char-Lynn motor suitable for? I'm thinking about using it on a wood splitter.
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 8, 2025, 4:19 PM
Applications for this Char-Lynn motor include mowing, snow removal, sprayers, trenchers, and wood product equipment.
