fitting's made of carbon steel -- will it hold up decent in a shop environment where things get a little rough on parts?

Carbon steel construction gives it solid durability for demanding shop conditions, and the Dura-Kote plating adds a layer of corrosion resistance on top of that. For industrial applications where fittings take some abuse and need to keep working without a lot of babysitting, this one's built with that kind of use in mind. got a -12 hose, does this fitting match up with a 37 degree JIC female swivel?
