This straight steel fitting is part of the 7012-ORR series from Brennan Industries. It features a male JIC SAE 37-degree flare thread on one end with a 7/8-14 thread size, conforming to SAE J514 specifications. The other end features a male BSPP ORR thread with a 3/8-19 thread size.

Will this fitting hold up with regular hydraulic oil, or do I need something special?

This straight steel fitting uses an NBR O-ring seal, which is generally compatible with standard hydraulic oils.
