CHAR LYNN M04080AC02AB0200000000000AA00F

Description & Features

Designed for demanding mobile hydraulic applications including mowing, snow removal, spraying, trenching, and wood processing equipment, the Char-Lynn M04080AC02AB0200000000000AA00F is a 4000 Series Disc Geroler wheel motor from Danfoss/Eaton. Built on a cast iron construction, it delivers a torque rating of 375 Nm and supports flow rates up to 95 litres per minute, making it well suited to high-load, low-speed drive requirements.

The Geroler motor design offers efficient energy use with a notably low pressure drop, reducing demand on the hydraulic circuit. Available in standard, wheel, and bearingless configurations, this motor adapts to a range of mounting and drive arrangements without requiring significant system redesign. The 4000 Series is a recognized platform in the Char-Lynn line for mobile equipment where compactness and reliable torque output are priorities.

Question by: Roger H on Jun 26, 2025, 5:36 PM
Reckon this Char-Lynn motor would hold up on a wood splitter I'm building?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 27, 2025, 9:04 PM
Application-wise, this motor is indeed used in wood processing equipment, so it should suit a wood splitter. Torque-wise, it delivers 375 Nm, so make sure that is adequate for the splitting force you need.
